Woodwork Operative – £13.00 p/h

Are you skilled in using hand and power tools? Do you have experience in carpentry or packing? We are looking for a reliable Woodwork Operative to join our team!

Main Duties:

-Packing equipment of various sizes and weights for road, sea, or air freight using bespoke timber and plywood cases
-Using industrial saws, pneumatic nail guns, and other hand/power tools to build secure packing cases
– Measuring and cutting wood to meet specifications
– Quality checking materials to maintain high standards
– Assisting with local deliveries and pickups using a company van (within a 50-mile radius)
– Carrying out general carpentry/woodworking duties as required

What We’re Looking For:

– Experience using hand and power tools (experience with pneumatic nail guns and industrial saws is a bonus)
– A full UK driving license
– Flexibility to work additional hours during busy periods
– Willingness to work both at our base in Chandlers Ford and on-site at customer locations within a 50-mile radius

Pay: £13.00/ph

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30 (flexibility required between 0600 am to 6 pm)
